Erick Arbé is a Class A PGA Professional and is currently a touring professional. Arbé has 7 years experience in the golf industry and has a Bachelor’s degree from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. He has a double major in Business Administration and Marketing with a concentration in Professional Golf Management. Erick also played college golf for the Division III National Championship Golf Team at Methodist University.
Erick’s resume includes having worked at 6 different golf courses. At each of the 6 courses Erick has worked with some of the most respected teaching professionals in the industry including: The Faldo Golf Academy in Atlantic City, NJ, J.R. Carman, a David Leadbetter prodigy, Rob Stocke, Director of Instruction for the Golf Club of Georgia, and Pat Burke, former PGA Tour player. While in Southern California in 2005 - 2006, Erick created the Get a Grip Golf School at Cresta Verde Golf Club. He has taught numerous private and group lessons to all ages incorporating video analysis into his teaching. His biggest accomplishment in California was developing Southern Califonia’s newest mini tour - The South Coast Series, an extension of the already established National Golf Tour. Erick acquired the sponsorship of Toyota for a first year endorsement of $25,000. (www.nationalgolftour.com)
At the beginning of 2007 Erick left Cresta Verde and sold his mini-tour to chase his dream of playing professionally. He successfully qualified for the Korean PGA tour in February and played the entire season in Korea. He also played in several smaller events in Thailand and Malaysia. Currently Erick is looking for sponsors for his next year as a professional golfer. He will be starting out in Sea Island, GA early 2008. |
